A get-out-the-vote animation I created for Picante Collective.
Spec animation I created for Liquid Death.
Spec work I animated for local San Diego company Kové who’s drinks are so good.
A spec video I shot and animated for Klean Kanteen.
Therabody came to me with a problem for their Theragun line: most of their marketing was technical and demonstrated how the Theragun worked, but there was something emotional missing, “What’s the story?” This is where I came in.
A goal of the client was to showcase diversity, so I set out to tell three separate stories of three very different people using their Theraguns to help improve their lives, all in under 30 seconds.
Work included animation, storyboards, character design, sound design, and background design.

A young girl growing up in a sleepy beach town wants to fit in but is afraid of the ocean. She tries to overcome her fear but it forces her to go further than she ever thought possible.
Notes:
I grew up in a town that was obsessed with the ocean.
Most of my family either surfed, swam, or made their living on the water. But for me, I was always afraid of the sea and from a young age I’ve had recurring nightmares of it spitting me out or keeping me away with pulsing waves and clouds of anger. To this day I'm still afraid of the ocean, so I wanted to make a short film to help me express this in a way that may inspire others to confront their own fears.
I'm currently learning how to swim.
